Call Completion

Call Overflow Forwarding is a handy and flexible feature. Busy on a call? Prevent missed calls with an additional "backup" number that automatically handles overflow when your landline is busy or rings out after, say, 10 seconds. Call Overflow Forwarding is a useful feature to assist you with handling busy and/or congested calls to your primary destination number.

Call Overflow Forwarding Examples

  • Example 1: Call Centre Congestion: You may have your 1300 or 1800 number answered by a Call Centre or a Live Answer Service. From time to time your Call Centre or Live Answer Service may not have sufficient resources to handle multiple calls to your 1300 or 1800 number. By adding a Call Forwarding Overflow to, say, your mobile phone or Voice2Email feature, you will quickly be alerted when your Call Centre or Live Answer Service is not handling the call volumes or if your Call Centre or Live Answer Service suffers an outage.
  • Example 2: VoIP Outages: If you choose to configure your 1300 or 1800 Number to be answered on a VoIP service eg Skype, Delacon, Netspace etc, you would want to know when a VoIP outage occurs. Smart business owners and managers add a Call Forwarding Overflow to, say, a mobile phone or Voice2Email feature to track VoIP outages. To find out more about today's VoIP outages go to Oz Voip Status. To view VoIP Provider Outage Statistics go to Oz VoIP Monitoring Statistics.

NOTE: Velox Telco requires any 1300 or 1800 number answered on a VoIP service to include Call Overflow Forwarding to an alternate, non-VoIP telephone number. Where a customer does not provide Call Overflow Forwarding to an alternate, non-VoIP telephone number then Velox Telco will not be responsible to action any fault notice for that 1300 or 1800 number answered on a VoIP service.
  • Example 3: Away From The Office: If you are often out the office or away from a home-based business, you can set-up Call Overflow Forwarding from your office or home phone to your mobile phone to take calls on the road.

Call Overflow Forwarding is included FREE with every Velox Telco Toll Free plan.
